I encourage you not to go at the last minute because you will find an endless line at the box office
waiting for an entry ticket. So you either won’t get in, or if you do, it will be for a few minutes.
To go there at least an hour before sunset is an excellent idea.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to get your tickets online until today.
The buses to Sounion depart from Pedion Areos.
They pass through the center of Athens (Klafthmonos Square, Syntagma, Metro Station Syngrou – FIX),
Syngrou Avenue and Poseidonos Avenue follow an amazing route by the sea, passing through places such as
Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza, Lagonisi, Saronida, Anavyssos, and Legrena.
